The Organization:
Founded in 1955 as the Lutheran Sunset Home of
Saskatoon, LutherCare Communities provides
excellence in care, housing, and community
services within a nurturing Christian environment.
The Luther Special Care Home has 129 beds which
are used to provide level 3 & 4 care. This
includes a secure 49-bed Special Needs Unit for
residents with cognitive impairment.
The Position:
Luther Special Care Home has openings for Food
Service Workers. Food service workers are responsible for serving meals to residents in the dining room. Duties include setting tables, serving the meal, washing dishes and pots and pans, and sanitizing work area.
Applicants must be available to work casual
shifts on weekdays , evenings and weekends.
The Applicants
Successful applicants will have:
Grade 10.
Food Safe certificate.
Basic computer skills.
Basic communication skills.
