Salary:$41,000 per annum; The gross salary paid is subject to all applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.
Other benefits:None; Other than normal employer EI and CPP contributions
Vacation:4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work:35.0 Hours a week.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities Responsible for the timely opening and closing of the storePrepare daily POS sales report and brief the managementDetermining stock needs, interacting with vendors and customers, monitoring sales and responsible for inventory management and cash control systemsMaintain and analyze business records to improve efficiency and increase salesResponsible for managing, recruiting, oversee training, and terminating employeesMaintain and monitor employees shift schedules and performanceSupervise and communicate changes of food preparation, formulas to the employeesPlacing orders with Pizza-Pizza Commissary, Coke for fresh food, beverage and other suppliesResolve customer complaints and rectify issues to provide highest level of satisfactionPlan promotions and local marketing initiatives and communicate with Regional ManagerMake sure that all local and national food safety codes are maintainedSolving the cash register or any end of the day reconciliation problemsSubmit biweekly payroll info (time cards, payroll changes, new hires, and/or terminations).
Specific Job Requirements Minimum 1-year managerial experience in food serviceRelated college diploma in hospitalityProficiency in POS and MS Windows softwareDemonstration and experience of use of standard concepts and practices in purchasing, handling/rotating inventory and supervision of up to 10 employeesAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.”
