“The Village of Winston Park located in Kitchener Ontario is currently seeking a Part Time Food Services Manager to join their team. This role will work 60 hours biweekly.

The Food Services Manager provides leadership in the preparation and serving of food and maintains the Food Services Department in a clean, safe manner up to and exceeding all standards prescribed by Public Health and Ministry of Health inspections. The Food Services Manager is responsible for seeing that diet and nutritional requirements of all residents are being met and regular assessments are completed.
Qualifications:
Maintains active membership the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (C.S.N.M).
Has proven experience in large quantity food preparation, financial planning, and food purchasing.
Has demonstrated supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
Knows the nutritional needs of seniors.
Demonstrates a creative flare for menu planning, preparation, and presentation.
Has excellent oral and written communication skills.
Has strong leadership skills and the proven ability to supervise and secure the co-operation of the Food Services Team.
Works with and communicates effectively with senior residents.
Is an effective team player who works well with others.
Is familiar with Ontario Food Premises Regulation, CCHSA/ORCA, Ontario Long Term Care Facility Program manual and OH&S Act.
Is a competent supervisor as defined by the OH&S Act
