Banquet Server – Part Time
The Glenerin Inn & Spa is a full service hotel looking for people who are genuine, friendly, thoughtful and resourceful. People who care enough to go the extra mile to give our guests a great experience. As a Restaurant Server you will join our team to provide friendly, efficient food & beverage service to our guests along with the following:
To provide friendly and hospitable service to our guests
To welcome our guests and serve our food and beverage offerings
To clean and re-set tables
All tasks related to setting up and clearing a dining room and banquet function room
To work Banquet shifts where necessary
Ability to set up banquet room functions to the standards of the Inn
Inspect the food being served to our guests and ensure service and quality standards are maintained
Cash handling skills are an asset
A la carte serving skills are an asset
Computer skills an asset
Any other duties as assigned by a manager
Job Requirements
Smart Serve Certified
1-3 years of food service customer service experience.
Transportation to hotel
Will be required to work evenings and weekends or mornings and weekends
Physical Requirements
continuous standing and walking
bending, lifting
ability to lift and carry a weight of approximately 50 pounds
continuous wrist and hand movements
Qualifications and Requirements
Ideally, you will have 1-3 years of experience in a food service customer service role with relevant school/college qualifications.
