Job Description
“Plan and direct food preparation and cooking for different types of quality dishes using different food material at the required temperature in a properly and timely manner. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies;
Ensure and manage food and drink inventory using fresh ingredients under required budget;
Plan and create new and trendy sushi, rice rolls and hand rolls and appealing display;
Oversee and final review the food selections and display in the entire food court;
Maintain inventory and order raw materials and ingredients;
Train and supervise kitchen staff members;
Maintain and order kitchen supplies;
Act in an advisory capacity to the Food Service Manager for menu planning and costing of foods and labor;
Assist with ensuring inventory is adequately maintained including complying with maintenance of food rotation to minimize spoilage;
Organize work stations to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency;
Comply with all workplace safety and food safety regulations;
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.”
