Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safe work practices and procedures
Assist culinary team as required
Ensure high level of cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the kitchen
Responsible for the sanitizing, sorting, and storing of all culinary items
Education, Experience, & Skills:
Hospitality/Hotel experience an asset
Food Safe Certification is preferred
WHMIS certification is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Demonstrated practice in the following Core Competencies:
o Service Orientation, Affiliative Communication, Achievement Oriented, Adaptability, Accountability, Positional Expertise, Initiative
Work Conditions:
High level of sensory attention; sight and hearing
Moderate level of mental effort and attention to detail
Physical demands include, but are not limited to walking, standing, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently
Hotel/kitchen environment
Will be constantly exposed to high temperatures in the kitchen environment
Interacts/communicates with guests and fellow associates
