Summary:

As a member of the Banquet Team, the Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the coordination of all banquet functions, guest inquirers, team supervision and other related activities. While upholding the highest standards of quality and service this individual must have a sincere desire to provide excellent customer service in a high volume environment while maintaining a motivated and organized environment for all associates.
Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)
Responsible for the smooth operation of the banquet department in the absence of Banquet Manager
Provide ongoing leadership, direction, support, training and recognition to associates
Administrative duties; banquet billing, schedules, payroll
Set up and Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
Conduct pre-function briefings with conveners and team
Education, Experience, & Skills: (Abbreviated)
Minimum two years experience in Food and Beverage industry
Hospitality experience an asset
Previous experience in a supervisory/leadership role
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) an asset
Food Safe Certification an asset
Service It Right Training an asset
Must be legal age to serve alcohol
