We are seeking a Chef Manager with previous restaurant management experience. Responsibilities will include:
Managing a staff of 4 – 6 line personnel
Setting staff work schedules and monitoring staff performance
Creation of daily menus, vendor selection and ordering
Maintaining inventory, monitoring revenues, and controlling costs
Directing and assisting of food preparation and serving to assure company standards are maintained
Monitor employee position objectives along with encouraging employee development
Complete and conduct employee performance appraisals
Develop and maintain positive relationships with all food and beverage staff and customers alike
Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), provincial regulations and internal health and safety policies and procedures
Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate has a Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Restaurant Management or related, and 5+ years experience as a Restaurant Manager or Cafeteria Supervisor.
