This position is based out of Moncton, NB and will be servicing all of New Brunswick as well as Prince Edward Island. You will be responsible for the overall development of this territory. The successful candidate will market Groupex and Restaurant Canada programs and services to the decision makers of independent Foodservice establishments using a consultative selling approach. You will be a conduit between our members and multiple tier one Food Service organizations and will also assist in communicating the Association’s positions in the governmental affairs arena to our members. New business development; establishing, maintaining and growing relationships with both customers and regional supplier partners are key performance measures. The majority of business activities will be conducted face to face at the customer’s location; some overnight travel will be required. Additional responsibilities include prospecting and developing an evolving target list, creating a territory plan, collecting market intelligence, and attaining company objectives for short term and long term sales targets.
We Are Looking For:
A dynamic, ambitious and career minded professional that is/has:
Min 5 years sales experience (either B2B and/or Foodservice industry experience is a prerequisite).
Persuasive and confident, with a proven track record, and committed to producing results.
A natural relationship builder with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Bilingual – fluent with oral and written communication in French
Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Organized and able to prioritize and manage several tasks at once.
Proficient with the Word, Excel and Outlook components of Microsoft Office.
A dedicated space for a home office and a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license in good standing.
A Post-secondary education.
