Full-Time Lodge Manager in Saskatoon
Job Description
“Athabasca Catering Limited Partnership (ACLP) is an established remote camp catering company that services Northern Saskatchewan Corporate Clients. Work sites are fly-in, accommodations and meals are provided.
1.Ensure on a day to day basis, the Lodge is maintained and kept neatly, through inspections and audits. Immediately deal with any deficiencies, issues or reportables with the appropriate personal at site or Head Office.
2.Oversee and manage all ACLP departments; Administration, Kitchen, Housing and Janitorial to ensure site operation follow clients contracts, meets clients requirements, applicable federal and provincial laws, OH&S regulations, and union agreements where applicable.
3.Ensure that site department budgets are monitored, meet ACLP monthly budgetary expectations providing monthly fiscal reports and compiling yearly fiscal data. Ensure appropriate resources for all catering contract requirements and work scopes.
4.Ensure that all department staffing levels are adequate and maintained within budgetary requirements, reviewing all department work schedules, and flight manifests, ensuring coverage is provided where and when necessary. Record and/or monitor staff hours of work on a daily basis to ensure compliance with budget targets, and provide to payroll; coordinate staffing, scheduling, and staff change overs; making necessary changes to meet staffing budget.
5.Ensure that discipline is consistent and within established company policy and procedure including union collective bargaining agreements, if applicable. Advise employees on the interpretation and administration of personnel policies and programs.
6.Responsible to provide final approval on payroll time sheets.
7.Accountable to ensure safety functions at site are consistent and within established company policy and procedures.
8.Other duties as assigned.”
