Woodbine Entertainment Group is seeking a customer service oriented individual to join our Racing Hospitality team at Mohawk Racetrack. This position will provide our dining room customers with the highest level of customer service in accordance with WEG company standards. Success in this role will be demonstrated through your courteous demeanor, outstanding and knowledgeable service and your ability to exceed guest expectations!

In this role, your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Customer Service: Consistently deliver excellence in service, product presentation venue image
.Deliver, maintain and exceed customer service quality standards as established by Hospitality Department
.Preparation and service of stations in our dining room facilities.
.Answers questions from patrons regarding menu and services offered, places orders in the POS system, collects and remits all revenues.
.Maintains a clean station, side stand and tables at all times, resetting at the conclusion of the shift.
.Demonstrate courtesy, commitment and professionalism
.Maintain a positive attitude and provide friendly, professional and enthusiastic service at all times
.Adhere to Smart Serve and Alcohol and Gaming Commission regulations
.Present in full uniform at all times while on duty
.Demonstrate accurate knowledge of pricing and products offered
.Cover breaks for co-workers as scheduled by Supervisor
.Consistently uphold and demonstrate safety rules and standards as designated by Hospitality Department
.Attend staff meetings / training as required to advance knowledge of menu , specials, new product / promotions customer service procedures / initiatives
We are seeking talented individuals with:
.Minimum 1 year experience in the service industry
.Basic experience in Food and beverage industry
.Responsible for obtaining and maintaining Smart Serve certification
.Basic arithmetic skills
.Ability to read and write English
.Ability to stand / walk for 8 hour period
.Available to work over-night shifts
.Able to lift/hold and carry thirty (30) pounds for extended periods of time
.Must be able to work in a noisy environment
This is a part-time hourly position based out of Mohawk Racetrack. The hours of work may include over-nights, weekends and holidays as required.
