Job Description
“Job Responsibilities:
* Greeting and serving guests at tables according to outlined Observatory standards
* Coordinating delivery of food items with the kitchen
* Maintaining the physical integrity of the dining facility from table set-up to bus-station mis-en-place
* Following cash-out procedures as set forth by the accounting department
* Following gratuity distribution procedures to ensure that all support colleagues are treated equitably
* Cooperating with management in other departments and assist as needed
* Servers will be available and receptive to training programs such that we may provide knowledgeable and professional service at a competitive level
Job Qualifications:
* Minimum three years fine-dining experience preferred
* Proficient in the service of classic dishes, with a proven level of comfort with culinary terminology
* Possess a solid grasp of wine and cocktail service, with a well-rounded knowledge of the same in order to recommend and up-sell quality products to guests. Formal wine credentials preferred.
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Excellent Customer Service skills
* Successful candidate will be required to complete a clear background check”
